february was... a month

i always joke to my friends that if you see title fight or frank ocean climb up in my listening stats, it's a cry for help. i was going through it last month (who isn't at any given point in time?) but it's my right to stream music and be the main character for a while! these songs, these lyrics, these melodies, they were clearly written with my very specific experiences in mind!

i won't lie, though. it was a month. it was the longest february to date for reasons i'd rather not expand on here. it's still interesting to see how my listening history is affected by circumstance. i've been archiving this for quite some time, so i'm able to pinpoint where i was at a particular juncture. even though a situation might suck in the moment, having something to look back on is a nice benchmark for when life feels stagnant.
